This is a positive step towards addressing the high levels of sexual violence in the country. However, it is important to remember that this is just one step in a long process. We must continue to work together to create a society where all people are safe from sexual violence. Here are some things that we can do to help: * Educate ourselves about sexual violence. Learn about the different forms of sexual violence, the signs and symptoms of abuse, and the resources available to survivors. * Speak out against sexual violence. Don’t be afraid to speak up if you see or hear something that is not right. * Support survivors of sexual violence. If you know someone who has been sexually abused, offer your support and let them know that they are not alone. * Get involved in prevention efforts. There are many organizations working to prevent sexual violence. Get involved in their efforts to make a difference. Together, we can create a world where all people are safe from sexual violence.
