Perenara out of second test against England All Blacks scrum-half Aaron Perenara has been ruled out of the second test against England with a calf injury. The 29-year-old suffered the injury in the first half of the All Blacks’ 40-28 victory in the first test at Eden Park on Saturday. Perenara was replaced by TJ Perenara in the 22nd minute and did not return. All Blacks coach Ian Foster said Perenara would be out for “a few weeks”. “It’s a calf strain, so it’s a grade one or two,” Foster said. “We’ll just have to see how he settles over the next few days before we make a call on when he’ll be back.” Perenara’s absence will be a blow to the All Blacks, as he is one of their most experienced and influential players. He has played 75 tests for New Zealand and was part of the team that won the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
