Star fullback Latrell Mitchell headlines the changes, earning a recall to the centers in place of the suspended Joseph Sua’ali’i. Mitchell’s inclusion marks his first Origin appearance since 2021. Other new faces in the expanded squad include Connor Watson (Rabbitohs), Dylan Edwards (Panthers), Mitchell Moses (Eels), and Cameron Murray (Rabbitohs). Watson will make his Origin debut off the bench, replacing Hudson Young. Mitchell Moses and Dylan Edwards replace Nicho Hynes and James Tedesco, respectively. Murray joins the squad in place of injured Sharks lock Cameron McInnes.
