The journey time is approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes. Dakar is an important gateway to West Africa, offering a wealth of tourism opportunities. Visitors can explore the vibrant markets and colonial architecture of the city, visit the famous Île de Gorée, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or embark on a safari adventure in nearby national parks. “We believe this new flight will not only boost tourism but also facilitate business and cultural exchanges between Italy and Senegal,” said Lazzerini. To celebrate the launch of the new service, ITA Airways is offering special promotional fares starting from €559 roundtrip. The Rome-Dakar connection is part of ITA Airways’ growing network, which now includes 57 destinations for the summer season.
