One Person Dead and Another Seriously Injured in Annagassan Collision An Garda Síochána is investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R173 at Annagassan, County Louth, on Wednesday evening, [date]. At approximately [time], two vehicles collided on the road. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported two occupants of the vehicles to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. One person, a male in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other occupant, a female in her 30s, sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.
