Post-Match Reaction “We’re disappointed with the result,” said South Africa coach Hugo Broos. “We had plenty of chances to win the game, but we couldn’t take them.” “We played well and created a lot of opportunities,” said Eswatini coach Dominic Kunene. “We’re proud of our performance.”South Africa and Eswatini played out a goalless draw in an international friendly on Saturday evening at the Mbombela Stadium. The match was a low-key affair, with few clear-cut chances created by either side. Bafana Bafana had the better of the possession and territory in the first half, but they were unable to break down a resolute Eswatini defence. Eswatini had a couple of good chances to score on the counter-attack, but they were unable to find the back of the net. The second half was much of the same, with both sides struggling to create clear-cut chances. However, Eswatini had the best chance of the match in the 80th minute when a shot from substitute Sabelo Ndzinisa hit the crossbar. Overall, it was a disappointing performance from both sides, who will be hoping for better in their next matches.
