Hitchhikers from Rundu
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Kauna Shikwambi, the truck driver picked up two unknown male hitchhikers in Otjiwarongo. The men claimed to be from Rundu and were traveling to Noordoewer for work in a vineyard.
Identification Challenges
The truck driver escaped the burning vehicle, but the two passengers perished. Their identities remain unknown. A case of homicide has been opened.
