Kakomo was a key cog in Villa’s title-winning campaign, scoring crucial goals and providing assists. He was also a mainstay in the Uganda Cranes squad that qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Midfielder Travis Mutyaba, who joined Villa halfway through the season from Bright Stars, is another contender for the MVP award.
