The sprawling facility spans 30,000 square feet and boasts a state-of-the-art theater, a contemporary art gallery, a spacious classroom, and a welcoming lobby space. The theater, with its intimate seating capacity, will host a variety of live performances, including dance, music, and theater productions. The contemporary art gallery will showcase rotating exhibitions featuring works by emerging and established artists. The inaugural exhibition, “Groveland: A Visual History,” explores the neighborhood’s past through photographs, artifacts, and multimedia installations. Additionally, the CGCC offers a wide range of community-based programs, including art classes, workshops, and lectures.
